Fintech Startup Verse Raises $21 Million

Verse completed $21 million in Series B financing. Three investors participated in the round: Spark Capital, e.ventures, and Greycroft Partners.

Verse is a leading peer-to-peer payment provider. With Verse, users can pay and request money from their friends in a matter of seconds and without fees, just like sending a text message.

In its announcement, the California-based company said the new funding will be used to for geographic expansion, most likely in Brazil, Colombia and Mexico.
