Digital Publisher Brit + Co Secures $15 Million

Brit + Co announced the completion of $15 million in Series C financing. Eight investors participated in the round, among them DMGT, Verizon Ventures, Intel Capital, Lerer Hippeau Ventures, and Oak Investment Partners.

Brit + Co is a media company that aims to inspire, educate, and entertain women with a creative spirit. Founded in late 2011 by Brit Morin, the company produces hundreds of pieces of content per month about friendships and relationships, home decor, and style and entertainment.

According to the company, Brit + Co will use the recent funding to support the continued diversification of revenue streams, including advertising, online classes, and merchandising.
