Nutonian announced that it has been acquired by DataRobot, a machine learning platform for predictive modeling.
Founded in 2011 by two data scientists, Nutonian has developed a breakthrough technology that enables users to uncover and explain the intrinsic relationships hidden within complex data. Nutonian’s AI-powered modeling engine, Eureqa, analyzes structured data and automatically builds accurate and actionable models.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Nutonian will help DataRobot attack its market much faster than it could have previously. DataRobot brought in about $60 million in fresh venture funding earlier this year, giving both companies an opportunity to jumpstart their move into the Internet of things.
