Artificial Intelligence Startup Lighthouse Has Raised $17 Million

Lighthouse announced it has raised $17 million in financing. Five investors contributed to the round, among them Eclipse Ventures, Playground Global, and SignalFire.
Lighthouse AI is an AI startup that develops a home security solution enabling homeowners to monitor properties through their smartphones. It is built using 3D and deep learning technologies that were originally developed for the DARPA Grand Challenge more than a decade ago.
The company did not announce its plans for use of the proceeds.
