Tinder Social Facilitates Party Squads
Tinder announced today the release of Tinder Social, a new feature that helps users find old and new friends for nights out.
By touching a button, Tinder users can see which of their contacts have also toggled on “Tinder Social,” communicating, “I’m read to party,” and invite them to hang out together. Once a group has organized its own squad, it can be matched with other groups that are going to the same place or pursuing the same activity. At that point, users can check out the individual profiles of the matched group by swiping right or left, just as they check out individual dating candidates.
Tinder Social is currently available in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and India. As the company said in its announcement, “Welcome to Tinder Social. Now get out.”
