Sunflower Labs completed $3.5 million in financing. Stanley Black & Decker and General Catalyst Partners participated in the round.

Sunflower Labs builds consumer products that provide insightful home security. The Sunflower Home Awareness System combines outdoor sensors with aerial cameras for complete views of what is going on around users’ homes. Sunflower Smart Lights “learn” property’s routines, deterring unwanted visitors with light and sound. When they sense unusual activity, Smart Lights work with the Sunflower Flying Camera to identify what’s happening.

Manufacturing company Stanley Black & Decker will be developing drone-based systems in partnership with Sunflower Labs as part of the investment.
