Digital Media startup Super League Gaming announced it has raised $15 million in Series C financing.

Super League Gaming is the world’s first recreational video game league taking place in movie theaters. The company’s mission is to give gamers an entirely new way to enjoy the games they love. The Santa Monica, CA, -based company cut its teeth producing Minecraft events nationwide, an event series that continues to grow. In partnership with Riot Games, Super League Gaming is also preparing for City Champs and City Rec League of Legends events that offer players new ways to compete, learn, socialize, and have fun playing their favorite games in local leagues.
