The coronavirus is now in all 50 states as of Tuesday, with West Virginia being the latest state to report a case.
There have been about 100 known deaths in the U.S. so far, according to The New York Times. The number of cases has shot up to about 5,600 as the ability to test increases.
Washington State accounts for almost half the reported deaths, with a long-term care facility in a Seattle suburb being the hardest hit, recording 30 deaths linked to the location. Most deaths have involved individuals over 60 years old, but there have been instances of deaths of individuals in their 40s and 50s.
