Software-defined edge computing company Pixeom, Inc., secured $15 million in capital funding led by Intel Capital and National Grid Partners. Previous investors include Samsung Catalyst Fund.

For the past five years, Pixeom has been refining its end-to-end edge computing enterprise software and diligently expanding its client base including Intel, Google, SK Telecom, Vodafone, and National Grid. According to the company, the platform’s APIs (e.g., machine learning, FaaS, stream processing) are designed to deploy and manage large-scale, geographically distributed infrastructure and workloads with the speed of on-premise edge computing like Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure.

The company plans to use the funds to continue scaling and deliver its platform.
