Digital Investment Platform Ellevest Raises $33 Million

Ellevest, the digital investment platform built by and for women, closed a $33 million funding round led by Rethink Impact and PSP Growth. New investors include Pivotal Ventures (the investment and incubation company founded by Melinda Gates), PayPal, co-founder of Wynn Resorts Elaine Wynn, former Google and Alphabet executive chairman Eric Schmidt, Valerie Jarrett, Gingerbread Capital (founded by Linnea Roberts), and Mastercard. Returning investors include Aspect Ventures, Khosla Ventures, Morningstar, Astia Angels, Creditease Fintech Investment Fund, and Ulu Ventures.

Ellevest’s services combine technology and personal service, including Ellevest Private Wealth Management, which hit $100 million in assets under management. Ellevest’s unique Premium service gives women access to executive coaches and certified financial planners to take their career and money goals to the next level.
