Intelligent finance and automated accounting platform ScaleFactor hired Francis Sullivan as its new chief technology officer, where he plans to build out its software platform with enhanced back-office operations features.
With over 34 years of industry experience, Sullivan brings software and hardware expertise that covers complex networked systems, systems management, automatic test equipment, data acquisition, analytics, containers, and container orchestration. He spent the last 13 years as the co-founder and CTO of Spiceworks Inc., a collaborative online marketplace that connects the IT industry. Previous to his role at Spiceworks, he was the vice president of technology at Motive, Inc., the principal engineer at Tivoli Systems, senior software developer at Tandem Computers, software analyst at Sunquest Information Systems, and software developer at Computer Automation.
Sullivan holds a B.S. in computer engineering from The University of Arizona.
