EdTech Startup ApplyBoard Secures $13 Million Series A Funding

ApplyBoard, an AI-enabled marketplace allowing international students to apply to higher education institutions around the world, raised $13 million in a Series A funding round led by Silicon Valley-based Artiman Ventures, as well as earlier investors 500 Startups, Candou Ventures, and Think+.

ApplyBoard’s proprietary full stack platform is designed to streamline the application process by curating a student’s profile based on academic background, desired major, and financial situation. Then, through its AI, the platform matches the student with a list of highly correlated schools and programs. By pre-vetting applications and assisting in the visa process, ApplyBoard strives to achieve a 95 percent acceptance rate for its students.

ApplyBoard plans to use the funds to further develop its platform.
