Honeycomb Raises $11.5 Million Series A

Honeycomb announced an $11.5 million Series A financing led by e.ventures, with participation from existing investor Storm Ventures and new investors NextWorld Capital and Merian Ventures.

Honeycomb built and operates a platform hosting millions of apps for software developers. The product enables engineers easily to create and analyze data about the functioning of their own software, helping them see aggregate trends and pinpoint specific user behaviors: the exact shopping cart stalling on a transaction, a query starving a system, or a user experiencing or causing a problem.

Honeycomb intends to use the funds to expand sales and marketing, as well as to continue R&D into bringing event-driven observability to a wider market.
