Payoneer announced investment from China Broadband Capital this past week, after raising $220 million in Series E financing last year from investors including Technology Crossover Ventures, W Capital and other existing investors.
The ecommerce company connects businesses, professionals, countries, and currencies from more than 200 countries with its cross-border payments platform. Additionally, Google, Airbnb, Elance-oDesk, and Getty Images rely on Payoneer’s mass payout services.
The funding will be used to further strengthen Payoneer’s global platform and accelerate investment in the company’s local China operations.
