Menlo Security secured $40 million in Series C financing. Eight investors participated in the round: American Express Ventures, Ericsson Venture Partners, HSBC, JPMorgan Chase Bank, General Catalyst Partners, Sutter Hill Ventures, Osage Partners, and Engineering Capital.
Menlo Security’s isolation platform aims to protect large enterprises, Fortune 500 companies, and financial service institutions against cyber attacks by isolating content and eliminating malware in the cloud, protecting users without the need to deploy endpoint software.
The company intends to use the Series C funds to build their worldwide sales and marketing team in 2018.
