Content management developer platform Contentful completed $28 million in Series C financing, led by General Catalyst Partners, with participation from Benchmark Capital, Balderton Capital, and Point Nine Capital.
Contentful’s platform enables web and mobile developers to manage, integrate, and deliver digital content to any kind of device or service that connects to an API, be it smart cars, VR, mobile, web, or digital signage. According to the company, the platform is used by independent developers as well as enterprise customers Jack-in-the-Box, Petsmart, Specialized, Fidelity Investments, and Urban Outfitters.
The newly acquired capital will be used to increase content infrastructure capabilities, build its partner network and developer ecosystem, and scale solution engineering and supporting enterprises.
