According to a recent SEC filing, consumer electronics startup grandPad® raised $6 million in financing from an undisclosed investor.
grandPad is a wireless tablet designed to more easily digitally connect older seniors to their family and friends, as well as allow them to see family photos and videos, play games, listen to music, email, make phone calls, and video chat. According to the company, the tablet arrives completely set up and ready to use, and is password- and credit-card free.
