According to a recent SEC filing, Protochips, which provides materials and life sciences research analytical tools for research and development of nanoscale materials, raised $2 million in financing from an undisclosed investor.
Using semiconductor techniques for MEMS device development that provide heat, electrical, liquid, and gas environments to samples in situ, Protochips’ products enable new approaches for the study of life and materials sciences materials, with the goal of making the development and commercialization of revolutionary new nanoscale materials possible.
