Enveil, a data security company protecting data in use, announced the close of a new round of financing from In-Q-Tel.

Search and analytics performance have historically required decryption, creating points of exposure. According to the company, Enveil’s Never Decrypt computation capability closes this gap by protecting data while it is in use. By allowing enterprises to operate on both encrypted and unencrypted data at scale in the cloud or on the premises, users can open the door to untapped opportunities.
