Zephyr Acquires Capture for Jira App from Atlassian

Industry-leading test management software provider Zephyr purchased the visual feedback and collaborative testing tool, Capture for Jira, from Atlassian, expanding their portfolio of software quality management tools.

Zephyr has been an Atlassian Partner for several years, and is known for the tool Zephyr for Jira, ZAPI, Zephyr Enterprise Platform, and Zephyr Blueprints for Confluence. Zephyr also offers an Enterprise version of their software solutions with additional functionality and enhancements for quality assurance and development operations.

Zephyr CEO Scott Johnson said, “We are excited to bring software testing innovation to Capture for Jira customers and expand our collaboration with Atlassian and our presence on their marketplace. Atlassian has done a fantastic job with this product line, and we are looking forward to building on this success with continued investments and innovation in the product. Development has already begun to bring new capabilities to our Capture for Jira customers, such as video capture, a browser extension for Edge, and deep integration with Zephyr for Jira.”
