InteraXon, an electronics startup, announced it raised $11.6 million in Series B financing, led by Export Development Canada, OMERS Ventures, and Trend Forward Capital.
InteraXon’s brainwave-sensing technology is designed to help people free themselves from physical, emotional, and mental obstacles. The company’s flagship product, a brain sensing headband called Muse, launched in 2014 with an iOS and Android compatible app. Muse gently guides users’ meditations, allowing them to obtain a deeper sense of focus.
