According to a recent SEC filing, security startup FireEye has raised $4.5 million in financing from an undisclosed investor.
The FireEye malware protection platform strives to offer integrated, multi-vector protection utilizing stateful attack analysis to stop all stages of an advanced attack. With its Virtual Execution engine, the platform builds a 360-degree, stage-by-stage analysis of an advanced attack, from system exploitation to data exfiltration.
