Digital Media Startup Hopscotch Brings In $5 Million

Hopscotch, an open, mobile experiences platform for teams, venues, and event organizers that has as its goal to help increase loyalty and generate new revenue streams, announced the close of $5 million in Series B financing. Jackson Boulevard Capital Management, Pittco Capital Partners, Mosaik Partners, and Albrecka participated in the funding.

The Hopscotch platform combines a feature-rich content management system with open API architecture, aggregating a variety of mobile technologies into a single fan engagement destination. It reaches fans using geofencing and multi-dimensional segmentation to optimize marketing and revenue opportunities.

Hopscotch plans to use the new funding to accelerate their road map and create Hopscotch Labs to explore emerging technology and its impact on fan engagement. The company will also use the funds to improve current products and features among existing verticals.
