Wall Street Veteran Joins PeerStreet To Lead Capital Markets Team

PeerStreet, an online platform for investing in real estate-backed loans, announced the appointment of Louis Nees as head of capital markets.

Nees brings more than 30 years of experience to PeerStreet. Most recently, he served as the CEO of Fairlead Management, a consulting services company specializing in business strategy, corporate growth, and innovation. He also served as CEO of Walter Capital Opportunity, a private real estate investment trust (REIT). Previous positions include senior vice president of Global Capital Markets for Ally Financial, managing director of JP Morgan’s mortgage credit derivative trading desk and senior vice president of Capital Markets at GMAC Mortgage.
