Networking startup Veracity Industrial Networks completed $1.5 million in seed financing. Three investors participated in the round: Microsemi, Hollencrest Capital Management, and Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories.
Veracity has created Veracity Industrial SDN, a secure industrial network that provides an on-premise, centralized control and monitoring solution that tracks connected devices and their communications. The company’s platform moves beyond the detection and alerting of cyber events into a resilient network that by design reduces the attack surface. Its security fabric’s mission is to provide complete network visibility and control with applications that deliver programmable security zones and proactive policy engines.
According to the company, the new funding will allow Veracity to continue developing next-generation solutions for industrial cybersecurity infrastructure.
