Finnish startup TrademarkNow received a €3-million investment from Karma Ventures, Balderton Capital and Montiko GmbH, and an additional €2 million loan from Finnvera.

Karma Ventures is a venture capital firm focused on investing in European early stage startups that develop unique technologies that have demonstrated customer traction. “We are very excited with TrademarkNow’s disruptive solution, powered by deep technical differentiation and excellent execution. A significant and quickly growing global customer base is great proof of the value that TrademarkNow has created,” said Margus Uudam, partner at Karma Ventures.

TrademarkNow provides an intelligent web-based trademark management platform that is used by enterprise companies, law firms and branding agencies for instant trademark clearance and watch results. Founded in 2012, the company has made significant inroads into disrupting a traditional market previously dominated by legacy providers.
