PureRED has named Andy Sung as its new chief digital officer. In the role, Sung will be charged with elevating the digital strategies of PureRED Fortune 500 retail and consumer packaged goods clients.
Prior to joining PureRED, Sung worked at global digital agency R/GA where he served as senior vice president and group managing director. While there, he oversaw a team of nearly 100, with full accountability for the agency’s deliverables to clients. Sung has a proven track record of innovation, fiscal responsibility and exceeding key metrics on client initiatives. One of the most significant initiatives of his career was co-leadership of an omni-channel transformation strategy with Walmart.
“In addition to deep digital domain experience, Andy brings an entrepreneurial ‘leader of leaders’ management style that makes him a natural fit for our company culture,” noted George Russell, chief executive officer of PureRED.
Sung holds a bachelor of science from Cornell University and a masters of business administration from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He resides in Princeton Junction, NJ.
