Consumer electronics startup Opkix announced the close of $5.4 million in Series A financing.
Opkix is a consumer lifestyle brand that creates camera products in the wearable, lighting, optics, accessories and mobile camera space. Its first product is a small wearable 4K camera called OpkixOne. The compact camera affixes wirelessly to clothing or glasses and links to an integrated social sharing app with connectivity across social media platforms. Upon capturing content, the app enables users immediately to edit content and post it to social media.
According to the company, the Opkix camera will launch in January, 2018.
