Agriculture tech startup MycoTechnology announced it has secured $42 million in Series B financing led by S2G Ventures, with participation from Emerson Collective, 1894, Seventure Partners, Middleland Capital, Tao Capital Partners, Greatpoint Ventures Innovation Fund, and Closed Loop Fund.

MycoTechnology is a food technology company that uses fungi-based food processing platforms to transform the flavor and value of agricultural products to solve a variety of challenges faced by the food, beverage, and flavor industries. MycoTechnology has released ClearTaste, an all-natural, GMO-free, Kosher and Halal certified, organic bitter blocker that improves the flavor of agriculture products. It also engages in fermenting agricultural products with strains of gourmet fungi. The company offers myceliated chocolate, and has developed and licensed industry technology that naturally improves the flavor of robusta and arabica coffee.

These additional investors provide the strategic expertise to help MycoTechnology execute its vision of feeding an exponentially growing population with a sustainable protein source.
