MetTel, a leading communications firm, announced Diana Gowen has been named general manager and senior vice president of federal programs.
Gowen joins MetTel after three years leading her own consulting business. Previously, she was the leader of CenturyLink Federal and oversaw the execution and development of CenturyLink’s solutions for federal government customers. She also led Qwest Government Services before its acquisition by CenturyLink in 2011. Gowen also previously served as vice president of MCI Government Markets and as an executive at AT&T, where she focused on sales, marketing, and product management.
“Diana Gowen is clearly among the top communications thought leaders in the government space,” said Marshall Aronow, chief executive officer of MetTel. “She’s been named ‘Industry Executive of the Year’ and she exhibited that caliber of leadership through our application and ultimate award of the GSA EIS contract. We expect her guidance to help make MetTel the preferred vendor for Federal digital transformation.”
