Lightning Systems, a global developer of efficiency and emissions improvement solutions for fleets of medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles, today announced that William R. (Bill) Kelley has joined the company as its new chief technology officer.
Prior to his new role, Kelley was the corporate vice president of advanced engineering for Borg Warner. His positions included overseeing the operation of Borg Warner’s Powertrain Technical Center and managing the company’s internal investment fund for research and development. Kelley was also responsible for design, development and implementation of advanced powertrain products for fuel economy improvement and emissions reductions across the globe.
