Flont closed $3 million in seed financing from Cventures.
Flont is the leading JAAS (jewelry as a service) platform, which allows members to rent unlimited fine jewelry from global brands like Bulgari, Cartier and Tiffany & Co., as well as dozens of artisan designers. The company empowers consumers to discover brands and artisans, and borrowers can purchase pieces they love at a discount. Flont enables “wrist retailing” — focusing on designer fine jewelry from $2,500 to $50,000, which is not easily available online.
Flont intends to use the funds to continue to build inventory, increase staff, and expand into the Chinese market.
