Consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton announced that it has acquired security startup Morphick. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Morphick provides cyber security managed detection and response (MDR) services to organizations globally. Its approach combines attack detection, threat hunting, incident response, and tailored threat intelligence to deliver morphing defensive postures.
The company had previously raised $10 million from Orchard Holdings Group.
The acquisition bolsters Booz Allen’s growth strategy in its U.S. commercial business, where the focus is on expanding clients’ access to scalable, on-demand managed threat services.
