Digital media startup Authentic Brands Group announced the completion of a new round of financing from General Atlantic.
Authentic Brands Group is a branding, marketing, and entertainment company that owns, manages, and elevates the long-term value of a portfolio of global brands spanning the lifestyle, sports, and entertainment sectors. The company’s portfolio includes Juicy Couture, the women’s loungewear brand, teen fashion brand Aeropostale, and lingerie brand Frederick’s of Hollywood.
The company said in the announcement that General Atlantic’s operational experience in the retail sector and the breadth of its global network will provide Authentic Brands with opportunities to scale its business and to broaden its portfolio.
