Spinbackup Closes $500,000

Storage startup Spinbackup announced it has secured $500,000 in financing, led by AVentures Capital.

Spinbackup is a cloud-to-cloud backup and cloud cybersecurity solutions provider for Google Apps. The company protects organizations that use cloud services against data loss and leak disasters by identifying the business risks associated with potentially risky third-party apps that provide access to corporate data in the cloud. Spinbackup is on a mission to make cloud eco-systems as secure as possible.

According to the company, Spinbackup intends to use the funds to support other cloud providers in the near future.
