Snowflake Computing completed $5 million in Series D financing from Capital One Growth Ventures.
Snowflake Computing claims to be the only data warehouse built specifically for the cloud. It delivers the performance, concurrency and simplicity needed to store and analyze all of an organization’s data in one solution. Snowflake’s technology combines data warehousing, big data platform flexibility and the elasticity of the cloud at a fraction of the cost of traditional solutions.
In its announcement, the company said investment will help advance Snowflake’s data analytics solutions for the financial services industry.
