Singapore startup CashShield announced the close of $5.5 million in Series A financing, led by GGV Capital. Heliconia Capital Management, Razer and Stream Global also participated in the funding.
CashShield is an online fraud management solution that helps enterprises manage risk from fraudulent payments and accounts. The product, which is powered by high frequency trading algorithms, real-time pattern recognition and passive biometric analytics, functions without the need for data scientists.
According to the company, the new investment round will help CashShield continue its global expansion in North America, Europe and Asia.
