NuCurrent Appoints New VP of Engineering

NuCurrent, a leading wireless power system and magnetics solution provider, announced the appointment of Jim Crnkovic as vice president of engineering.

“We are excited to welcome Jim to the NuCurrent team,” said Jacob Babcock, CEO of NuCurrent. “He is a globally-recognized leader in RF technology and brings additional expertise, vision and delivery capability to our rapidly-growing team.”

Prior to joining NuCurrent, Crnkovic served as director of wireless field engineering at AAC Technologies. Before AAC, he served as director of the Antenna Technology Team at Motorola Mobility, where he developed antenna systems for Motorola leadership products, including Droid RAZR, RAZR MAXX, and Droid 3. Crnkovic also led handset product teams and drove industry-wide antenna research and standards efforts to enable radiated performance improvements in cellular phones, and headed up a mechanical simulation team that simulated phone drop testing to uncover internal mechanical stress points.
