YaDoggie is an Internet of Things product to help pet owners keep dog food in stock. The dog food delivery service has invented a “Smart Scoop” that lets users know immediately if their dog has been fed or not by flashing a green or red light when the dog is picked up. When paired with YaDoggie’s mobile app, users can also receive push notifications about whether their dogs have been fed. The scoop helps YaDoogie figure out when users are running low on food so the company can send timely replenishment.
According to the company, the Smart Scoop will be available during the 2017 holiday season. Anyone who registers for YaDoggie between now and when the scoop ships can get the scoop for free.
YaDoggie was created by Sol Lipman who works in product at Yahoo!.
