Unlike cotton, which requires massive amounts of water to grow, bamboo requires almost no irrigation or pesticides. Bamboo regenerates naturally and grows ten times faster than typical trees. Selective’s undershirts eventually decompose into nutrient-rich soil, so their remains are valuable to the earth.
Selective is currently holding a pre-sale campaign on Kickstarter with a minimum pledge of $32 for 2 undershirts. The company was developed by Jacob Xi and Anni Stromfeld.
