Echo.rent is a marketplace for renting items from other members. To post a listing, users sign up and link their PayPal accounts to receive online payments. They can post listings, set preferred rental prices, specify deposit amounts, add pictures and describe rental terms and conditions. Echo.rent charges 4 percent transaction fees to owners, but no fee to renters.
