Consumer startup Aunt Fannie’s announced it has raised $2.5 million in financing, led by Reynolds & Company Venture Partners and CircleUp.

Based in Portland, Oregon, Aunt Fannie’s manufactures whole ingredient, food-based cleaning and pest solutions for use in indoor environments. Unlike synthetic “plant-based” or “plant-derived” ingredients, Aunt Fannie’s uses ingredients in original, natural forms, creating solutions that are evolutionarily adapted to human bodies. Aunt Fannie’s goal is to create products that empower families to remove toxins from their households, make offices safer for employees to spend their time, and help food manufacturers, food service providers, and healthcare establishments create clean environments without risk of chemical exposure and contamination.

According to the company, the investment will provide Aunt Fannie’s with capital to advance its unique microbiomic product families.
