Agtech Startup SWIIM System Closes $4.5 Million

SWIIM System announced it has secured $4.5 million in Series B financing, led by Costa Asset Management.

SWIIM provides a new standard in water measurement that allows growers to receive an accurate accounting of water both delivered and consumed in their fields. The patented process was developed with the help of the USDA and is being used successfully by growers and water providers. SWIIM accounts for users’ water use with the same precision as a CPA accounts for finances. With the increasing regulations and costs associated with water usage, the company believes this information will become increasingly important.

The company revealed that the funding will be used for growth initiatives.
