MANDT VR today announced the appointment of seasoned technology executive Mike Dunn as the company’s chief technology officer. MANDT VR, founded in 2015, is an Emmy award-winning immersive entertainment and media studio that specializes in the production of premium virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality content.
In his new role as CTO, Dunn will develop, articulate and manage the company’s strategic technical direction. “Mike’s pedigree speaks for itself, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have him on board,” said Neil Mandt, co-founder and CEO of MANDT VR. “From startups to multinational corporations, Mike’s experience runs the gamut, and I’m eager to put his expert guidance to good use as we continue to grow MANDT VR and expand its offerings.”
Prior to MANDT VR, Dunn served as CTO of several high-profile companies, including Time Warner, Hearst Interactive Media, and TrueCar, which he helped take public. Mike was also the founding CTO of Dell Online, Dell’s original e-commerce site. More recently, he held the position of chief information officer at VER, a leading global provider of advanced production technology to clients in TV, cinema, live events, broadcast, and corporate markets.
