Guardian Analytics Appoints Jesus Ortiz as Vice President of Product Development

Guardian Analytics, located in Mountain View, CA, has appointed Jesus Ortiz as vice president of production development. Guardian Analytics is a pioneer and leading provider of behavioral analytics and machine learning solutions for preventing banking and enterprise portal fraud.

In his new role as VP of production development, Ortiz will lead all aspects of product development and will be responsible for building the next-generation financial crime-prevention platform. Prior to joining Guardian Analytics, Ortiz worked as vice president of release management for Oracle’s Fusion Middleware PaaS and enterprise solutions. Before that, he was chief technology officer and vice president of global deployment strategy at Thomson Reuters, where he led creation of the company’s next generation financial and practice management solutions. Prior to Thomson Reuters, Ortiz held key senior leadership roles in engineering and product development at Tumbleweed Communications and Novell, Inc.

“Jesus is an experienced technology and operations executive who has developed and delivered multiple cloud, big data and enterprise based solutions,” said Laurent Pacalin, president and CEO of Guardian Analytics. “His track record of delivering tangible and compelling results is a strong asset to our executive team.”

Ortiz graduated with an B.S. in computer science from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
