FilmTrack closed $5.5 million in Series C financing from Insight Venture Partners.
FilmTrack offers a SaaS-based integrated solution suite that streamlines the intellectual property management lifecycle from project inception to distribution. It also provides a view into critical data supporting rights, availabilities, contracts, invoicing, licensing, revenue recognition, royalties, and workflow management.
According to the company, FilmTrack intends to use the new funds for major product enhancements, including an enhanced UI/UX, expanded reporting and analytics tools, and a deepening of finance and accounting capabilities.
