Internet & IoT startup Rover.com announced the close of $65 million in financing. Seven investors participated in the round: Spark Capital, Stepstone, Madrona Venture Group, Menlo Ventures, Foundry Group, OMERS Ventures, and TCV.

Rover.com connects pet owners with the nation’s largest network of trustworthy pet sitters and dog walkers. Through Rover, pet owners can discover, book, and manage personalized care for their dogs, including pet sitting, dog walking, in-home dog boarding, and doggy day care. Founded on the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the unconditional love of a dog, Rover aims to improve and simplify life for pet parents and the dogs they love.

In its announcement, the company said Rover will use the funding for international expansion, to drive brand awareness and to launch new services and tools for sitters and owners.
