Security startup PerimeterX announced the close of $23 million in Series B financing. Three investors participated in the round: Canaan Partners, Vertex Ventures, and Data Collective.
PerimeterX is a provider of scalable, behavior-based threat protection technology for the web, cloud, and mobile. Its security service PerimeterX Bot Defender™ aims accurately to protect commerce, media, and enterprise websites from all types of automated or non-human attacks at any scale.
In its announcement, the company said the funding will help Perimeterx expand in the U.S. and internationally and broaden its platform into new areas.
