PeopleGrove just closed $1.8 million in seed financing. Seven investors participated in the round: Reach Capital, Collaborative Fund, Floodgate Fund, GSV Capital, LaunchCapital, RiverPark Ventures, and University Ventures.

Founded in 2015, PeopleGrove offers a unified solution for relationship-driven career success. By making mentors, advisers and coaches accessible to its users, the company helps students from all walks of life access new opportunities and, ideally, achieve their career goals. PeopleGrove’s mentorship and advising platform has been successfully launched at some of the world’s leading educational institutions, including Stanford, UMUC, K-State and many more. The company is also working with Intuit, Qualcomm, and CooperVision to help the companies’ employees access experts and coaching within their own organizations.

PeopleGrove revealed that the new seed funding comes in the wake of an exceptional year that saw a rapidly growing roster of customers and development of its initial platform in close collaboration with Stanford University.
