Saucey announced it has raised $5.4 million in Series A financing. Four investors participated in the funding, among them Bullpen Capital, Blumberg Capital, and Structure Capital.

Saucey is the easiest, fastest, and most reliable way to order alcohol and have it delivered in 20 to 40 minutes. With no minimum required, users can pick from a wide variety of options and have drinks delivered quickly to them with taxes, tips, and delivery fees included. The company drives additional revenues and customers to its local small business partners who source the alcohol, and it donates a percentage of every sale to Charity Water, a non-profit organization that provides clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. Saucey currently serves Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Sacramento, and Chicago.

The company revealed that the capital will be used to expand Saucey’s penetration of its current markets, continue optimizing its logistics platform, and invest in expanded product offerings.
